Wildlife in our hotel lobby
Our hotel was on the shore of Lake Lucille The air was smoky from the still raging fires in the area The air filter in our room was much appreciated
Lake residents have seaplanes as well as boats
The air was better in the morning with a pretty reflection on the lake
After seeing the sled dogs in Fairbanks and Denali, we wanted to visit here
A historical movie and artifacts provided the background of this race
	Joe found a friend
We took the opportunity to go for a ride along the quarter mile gravel trail loop There is no snow this time of year
Back on the road south there were VERY smokey conditions ahead
