Chania, Crete

This is Nea Chora, the closest beach in the town of Chania. It wasn't crowded at all at 10 am on Friday morning.
Time to build a sandcastle

The reef protects the beach so the water is calm
Some people climb on the rocks of the reef
Even at noon the beach was still uncrowded

The sandcastle complex continues to grow

But we seem to be the only contruction on the beach

Fun in the water
