Congratulations
to Jacob Black and William Gourlay
who led the team at the PSYA Regional Swimming Championships
in Bedford, Feb. 29th - March 2nd.
Jacob won the overall high point award for the 6 & under
boys and set a championship meet record in the 25 free (19.46). Jacob also set
team records in the 50 free (47.25), 25 back (25.00), 25 breast (29.35), 50 breast
(1:09.79), 25 fly (25.18), and 50 fly (1:06.05).
William was the 2nd overall high point award winner in the 8 & under
boys age group. William won gold medals in the 25 back (19.49) & 25 breast
(24.99), silver medals in the 25 free (16.72) & 25 fly (19.36), and bronze
in the
50 fly (44.77), 50 back (44.64) & 100 IM (1:39.40).
New team records were also set by Sierra Gray
in the 25 back (22.62), 50 back (56.01), & 50 fly (1:09.32),
and Cullen Doughterty in the 100 breast (1:57.51) and Steven Black
in the 100 back (1:47.27) |
