full of wrestlers from around the world
Joe did not really fit in
We walked around the city
and even
did some shopping

We had a Croatian dinner
at a local restaurant
called Purger

The next day we continued wandering the city
This is the main square
Ban Josip Jelicic was
a hero of the 1848 revolution

He also abolished
serfdom

We continued shopping and walking around the city
The park opposite the
central train station

includes a statue of
King Tomislav,
the First King of Croatia
There are many interesting museums to visit
We returned to the Pergur Restaurant for a different delicious meal
Our OAT Tour began the next day
Our 1st stop was the Astronomical Clock

On Cathedral Hill the Church is still being repaired
after the earthquakes of 2020 & 2024
On our way to the Stone Gate
we passed a statue

killing the dragon
The Stone Gate contains
an exquisite shine

The roof on this Church
was inspired by
St Stephens Cathedral
in Prague
